Who am I
I am a landscape and wildlife photographer based in North Alabama, with a primary focus on landscape and wildlife photography. My work is shaped by extensive time spent outdoors—particularly on the trails and public lands of North Alabama—and an ongoing interest in observing wildlife in its natural habitat.
I grew up in Florence, Alabama, and currently live in the Huntsville area. Time spent outdoors has been a constant throughout my life, beginning with scouting and later developing into long-distance hiking and regular field exploration. That time in the field ultimately led to photography as a way to document and share the places and moments that are often overlooked.
My photography is grounded in patience and familiarity with the landscape. Whether photographing birds, wetlands, or broader scenic views, I aim to create images that reflect the character of a place rather than simply its appearance. North Alabama remains my primary subject, though I also travel and photograph beyond the region.
I recently began expanding my work to include travel photography, including visits to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks as well as the Pacific Northwest, and I plan to continue exploring and photographing new regions over time.
